Solitaire Guest Farm Desert Ranch
One of Namibia's finest experiences is visiting the famous Dunes of Sossusvlei, Sesriem canyon, Naukluft Mountains and Spreedtshoogte Pass.
Solitaire Guest Farm Desert Ranch is the perfect location from which to base your day trips and excursions to these destinations or to simply relax for few days. The Farm is situated at the foot of the rugged Rand Mountains with a breathtaking view over the vast Namib Desert and beautiful Naukluft Mountains.

En-Suite Rooms
Our Authentic Africa themed en-suite rooms are located in the original 1950's farm house. We offer single, double and family rooms. All tastefully decorated with spacious bathrooms and a ceiling fan.

Luxury Self Catering House
For those who are looking to enjoy some extra privacy and comfort we offer a spacious thatched luxury house located right at the base of the mountains.
The house includes:
- 2 en suite bedrooms each with a double and single bed.
- A fully equipped kitchen and dining area.
- A stylish and comfortable lounge to relax.
- A veranda overlooking the desert perfect for watching the sunset.
- A Braai area.
- An outside bush shower
Campsite . . .
Our picturesque campsite has everything a camper needs. In addition to the spectacular view we provide shade huts, braai areas, electricity and spacious showers and toilets.

Swimming Pools.
We have not one but two swimming pools available for all guest to enjoy.
Lapa / Dining Room.
Delicious dinners and breakfasts are served up every morning and evening at our elegant dining room underneath a traditionally thatched lapa. Dinner and breakfast is included in the price our en-suite rooms but also available to other guests upon request.
The Bar.
After a hard days travelling, hiking or relaxing there is no better place to unwind than our bar equipped to quench any thirst. The bar also has a dart board and a fire pit to huddle around and share stories of adventures.

From Windhoek via B1 (2 Options)
1) Drive 87km south to Rehoboth. Turn right onto the C24 for 157km to Büllsport. Turn right on the C14 for 54km. At the T-Junction at Solitaire look on you right for our entrance. Drive 6km to the house.
2) Drive 87km south to Rehoboth. Turn right onto the C24 for 39km. Turn right onto the D1261 and at the next T-Junction turn left (still D1261) to Nauchas.
At Nauchas you have 2 options:
a) Turn right onto the D1275 spreedshoogte Pass (seconde hightest pass in Namibia with incredible view, better for 4x4's) for 51km. Turn left on C14, our entrance is 9km on your left hand side, drive 6km to the house.
b) Stay on the D1261 Remhoogte Pass (no problem for normal cars) for another 70km. Turn right on the C14 for 14km. Entrance on the right, drive 6km to house
From Windhoek via Kupferberg Pass C26
Take the C26 for ±100km and turn left onto the D1265 to Nauchas. From here You have the same to options as above
Options (A & B)
From Swakopmund and Walvis Bay: C14
Drive the B2 to Walvis Bay, then take the C14 to Solitaire for 211km. Turn left into the farm and drive 6km to the house.
From Sesriem take the C19 to Solitaire for 83km. At the T-Junction drive straight into the farm and the 6km to the house.
From Maltahöhe take the C14 to Solitaire. At the T-Junction turn right into the farm and drive the 6km the the house.
